Hello all

I’m looking to install some lights on my 19 foot 2018 Escape awning and was wondering if there is a certain brand of clip that works better than others?

You may want to think about LED strip lighting, if i had to do it all over again i would go this route... unfortunately for me LED were not as advanced as they are today. The best reason (IMHO) to go this route is that you get to use the lighting if the awning stored

This is the current version of the S-hook holder that we have:

it does the job but is nothing special.

We also have a sun shade that also used the awning track so we also have

so we can use both the shade during the day and the lights at night.

Another option is to use a track that is made for a rope light

I would use the fabric ones as they can stay installed when the awning is rolled up. I made up my own with 1/4 inch OD nylon standoff pieces 1 inch long and threaded some cord through them, and use binder clips to hold lights to the cord.



I don't ever take them down, rope just rolls up when retracting the awning.
