Awning pull rod

Adding a Mod for my 100th post.
....(100! Whoopie!)

I found a convienet place to store the awning pull rod. Works great on the classic model Escape. Used two commad light hooks in the filler area between the screen case and door.

We did the same but with magnets.
Someone at the yearly get together showed us that. Since then we also have a shoe horn on the other side of the door frame and magnets holding the shower curtain closed.

Yes a great place for the awning rod ! I added some foam and a strap to ours so it doesn’t move . Pat

I can just reach the lock/unlock and the awning strap without having to use any tool, etc. I don't even know where that awning rod is any more.
If I needed to use it and knew where it was, that is an excellent location for it. Guess whomever buys our trailer someday will have to be 6'+.

Greg need the awning lock rod because I installed the aftermarket awning lock on other end . It has a ring on bottom you need to engage to release . Pat
