I recall this being discussed in an earlier forum. Too bulky for me, I like the Bear Steps mod with the Stromberg Carlson adjustable stool. Still, I would need to buy the cut pieces as I don't have tools for metalworking.

Steve, I would try the Stromberg Carlson step (we have the one with the adjustable legs) without the step mod first. You may find (as we did) that when it's set to the lowest setting, it's the perfect height for use with the standard step.
