I like the blinds i don't want them to stand out just blend in. It would be nice if people could select the color of their chose but it sounds like that's not an option at this point. Doesn't seem like a big deal but I'm not that into blinds...they seem to work and hold up for many years.

Umm, it sounds like it is you who is slamming others choices not to want beige. NW Cat Owner's distaste of beige stated her opinion of beige, it did not slam others for liking it. Your scolding finger wag was uncalled for. Please try not to be so touchy.

Unless you've heard that she hates beige about 600 times since she joined the forum.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it kinda did. It declared browns and beiges "icky". You could read that as just one opinion, as I did, but you could also read it as something else. A common way around this is the use of "I personally" or "in my opinion" or "I prefer". That way, everyone gets it. It's all good though. Different people, different tastes.

True story. One of the benefits of attending gatherings is the trailer tours. I've been inside a gazillion different all-molded-towables over the years. Seeing some ideas of decorating or themes made my eyes bleed. But, it's 'theirs' not mine. Shoot, I don't particularly care for green... but I have a green counter top (that I picked) and it looks good. Who would have guessed?

I do like your green counter Donna. Goes perfectly well with that "interesting" fabric! [emoji23]

Oh for goodness sake, get over yourself. Have we really gotten to the point where someone can't say they find beige icky without being scolded by the thought police? I don't care how many times she said she likes beige, and neither should you. Now if she said people who like beige are icky, different story, but she didn't. Whenever she makes a comment, I always expect you to have a borderline insulting reply, and you never disappoint.

LMAO. Yeah, I'm the touchy one.

I have never posted anything negative about Laura's preferences in decorating, though have repeatedly heard digs on mine likes from her. All these differing choices is what makes this a great forum. It would be boring if we all wanted the same thing. I just want to see folks play nicely here and not put down other's choices.

Back on the OP's original topic, there is no doubt that it would be nice to be able to select blinds, maybe if the manufacture made a set for them and had them shipped to Escape to maybe then charge a set upcharge. In talks with Reace, I do understand their need to limit these custom options though, so understand their point of view. I still can't believe how many times I heard no from him.

What is the issue that some are referring to with the ones used being day shades as opposed to night shades? I do understand that blackout shades cut out light. I guess part of my thinking is that shades are for a visual break, not one for light. It is dark when I sleep anyway.

I spent the afternoon drinking pale ale and eating appys, watching cruise ships sail out under the Lions Gate Bridge and telling my companions that you'd never get me on one of those sideways floating hotels. Can't stand the carpets.

I was on a cruise ship last weekend. 14 feet long, 25 horsepower engine, unlimited ( more than I could drink) beer, free sack lunch, social director, captain, bartender, chef, mechanic, first mate all the same person. All I paid for was the sushi, which we call bait.

Or your eyes . Honestly it's interesting to view others choices. I didn't realize it ran the gambit... and it's ALL good. In fact it's fun. I ended up with colors I'd NEVER pick for my sticks 'n bricks, but threw caution to the wind for my trailer. I figured if I ended up hating it in a year or two or less, I'd change it. Cheaper in the trailer than making a disastrous decision in my home. Live on the edge! It's amazing what 'stretching' does for one's psyche.
