Caframo fan install
We are prepping for the next trip in a couple of weeks and will be camping without hookups a few nights.
I purchased a Caframo fan recently and was able to get it installed today.
For anyone interested I installed it outside the bathroom on our 21C. I was able to run the wires between the shower and outside wall.
Behind the medicine cabinet there are several 12 volt wire connections to tap in to.
Made a nice clean install.

Nicely done, I didn't know that there was wiring access behind the medicine cabinet. Could be handy.

Yes. I found this due to the issues I had with the medicine cabinet when new. The door would not stay shut when traveling. I took the cabinet out to modify it a bit and saw the wiring then.
Came in handy today.

Caframo fans are on the list, expensive but I think we’ll worth it. I saw them on a YouTube video, VanCity VanLife

We had them in our Scamp 19 and have one waiting to be installed our 5.0.
Great little fan, but they also come in a 24v variety. The 24v fan does not run well on 12 v, in case you were wondering. Expensive mistake if you don’t catch it until after you have installed the thing.

Well hopefully I got the right one! I did check my order to be sure. It states it auto senses 12/24 volt.

Not necessarily expensive, we bought this one at West Marine and installed it in our 5.0. No blade guard, but you can stop the fan with your hand, no pain.

That’s nice. Ours was from several years ago.
