Classic (2015) Escape 21 Lagun Install

Well, for me the silver lining to the Covid quarantine was that I finally had plenty of time to do the Lagun Table install that I’ve been thinking about for two years. Thanks to all the folks on this forum who contributed to the many detailed discussions of table mods, -- Lagun, Springfield, and the various custom designed options, -- I had plenty of good ideas to work from. Although I couldn’t find anyone who had actually done it on a Classic 21 with the factory standard “2-pole café booth” I was able to visualize how it might work in my situation. I tend to over-think and then over-engineer stuff and of course that was the case with this project which is why it took me as long as it did. The current table is temporary; a piece of 1/2 inch plywood which we’re using until we’re sure of the final size and configuration that will work the way we want it to. We’ve tested it twice in the last 2 months and so far are happy with the results.

Looks great, we have the Springfield but I wish we had made the table smaller like yours

THAT IS AWESOME !!!
What an excellent job...and something I've been looking at as a modification to our 21NE.
Thank you for sharing.
I suspect this will be shared by many and particularly with my wife.

Very nice mod Paul. Out of the box thinking that looks like it will serve you well. I am sure you will like the Lagun as much as we do.
