Custom 21C w/ all electric (no propane at all)

Just saw this video of a custom 21C with zero propane ... it all electric.

Very interesting mods.

Yes, he's quite a character and his trailer goes into one of a kind wow territory.

He was at the rally and his was by far the most in demand trailer to tour.

His life story is also fascinating.

Yes very impressive. And here I have been patting myself on the back for successfully converting from our failed SDS2 cooktop to the D21. This guy just deflated me.

I don't remember if he addressed trailer weight but that would be an interesting tid bit which could probably go either way. My guess is it might be on the heavy side. Our 21C weighed 4525 lbs loaded for a 6 week trip from Kansas to Newfoundland and back. I see myself remaining not as intelligent and industrious as he is, not doing the research, self-educating, and exerting elbow grease required for that level of modification. Just sayin'.

I wonder what his investment is for all the mods?

A lot! Very intelligent and talented guy with clearly a lot of discretionary time for research and mods. Now I finally know how he mounted his mini-split condenser...removed the propane tanks!

I see he did build his own battery bank, which would have been a big part of the investment. Still it has to be substantial
