Custom extended table top for 21NE with bench seats

I'm strongly considering ordering a 21NE F2, but I've come to learn that the rear bench setup in a 21NE has a much shorter table than I expected. While the benches are ~60" long, the table itself is only 5.5" longer than the U-dinette table, or about 46", which leaves it more than a foot short of full length. I'd like to have a longer table for work, and the only way seems to be to buy or make my own tabletop. I'm worried that a full 60" table might be too heavy for the single support, and I'm wondering if anyone else has done something similar in the 21 (or possibly the 19 F2). The rear bench is an optional upsell from a second U-dinette, and if getting a longer table isn't realistic I'd likely stick with the U, as a bench seat isn't worth 5.5" of extra table length.
