Dinette "footstool"
Pedestal foot stool for dinette:
John took pedestal to hardware store to get right size PVC.
PVC "T" fits over our pedestal with just enough clearance to swivel on pedestal. (Approx. 2&3/8 O.D.)
Make a "trough". Take a 14" length of piece of PVC. Leaving one end round (whole) to insert into the "T", cut the rest of it in half.
Cut a piece of plywood length of and approximately 1" wider than the shallow trough you have created.
Bolt plywood to trough, head of bolt on top, end of bolt and nut under PVC trough.
Wrap with carpet which you staple in place.
Use PVC glue to glue trough to "T".
Remove pedestal from floor. Thread "T" so carpeted side will be up.
Put hose clamp around pedestal under trough "T" at height you desire.

Is your television attached to the bathroom door?

J Mac, yes had bathroom door reinforced for TV. Told Reace where wanted cable. He sent us the arm. We decided where we wanted it after TT delivered. Sat at dinette and figured out height. Swings back nicely. With the U shaped dinette, the table slides toward the front / hitch end of TT. Easy to sit down.
John found the 1" wide "bungee" strap at hardware store. Screwed two metal brackets on wall on either side of TV. It is very stable for travel.
He also took a piece of wood / ash and made a u shaped channel to cover power and antenna cords as they go up wall from floor. Could have them installed near overhead cabinet and run down wall.
He sits with back against front wall, feet crossed at ankles on his swinging stool, TV swung out into the entry space and before long his head is nestled onto that nice padded corner and he's stacking z's.

Alf, your the one who gave us the "leg up" with the screen room! Thanks so very much!
Yes, we too enjoyed meeting you & M.A. So much to talk about! Will look forward to next spring and hopefully crossing paths again. Have five nites on Sanibel, but may try to get into FMB also.

J Mac, I misspoke. I meant to say bathroom wall, not door for TV mount.
