Dinette light too bright

We have the 3 standard LED dinette lights in our 21. We are happy with the side lights as they are nice and bright for reading. When eating though, we use only the light above the back window and find that still a bit too bright. Has anyone replaced the bulb for a softer light, or maybe found a different cover that diffuses the light better? We've tried some battery operated and solar lights sitting on the table instead, but find them not bright enough. Now that I've ready this back, maybe we're just Goldilocks!

Either way, I thought I'd pose the question in case anyone had ideas....

dimming is a possibility, but not all led lights (circuit design) dim well depending on the dimming method and you would have to test them to see if they work in your trailer. This camper was curious about this also and inquired about the mfg and part number of led fixture currently used so as to buy and test some...probably is, even testing a fixture today there is no guarantee that tomorrow the trailer will be built with the same led fixture....

Just turn it off and plug in a small 120v table lamp with a 30 watt light for better ambience.

I have kind of the opposite situation! Yesterday we viewed a brand new 5.0TA in it's new home environment. Their kitchen light is about a million times brighter than ours! I've got green eyes now. I like lots of light in the kitchen. I'm going to write to ETI to find out what type of bulb they got compared to what we got.

I did a write up about the new lights after taking delivery of Prairie Schooner, they use LED strips now, not bulbs. Does your tailer have the strips?
