Escape 19 Shower hose length

I Will send ETI a more flexible shower hose for the build. What length works well in the 19?

For my 5.0TA I went with a 40", 40" being what it had originally, except in stiff vinyl with plastic ends. Delta U494R-WH40-PK. The 5.0TA had the same bath as the 19, at least it did in the past.

Bob the little bit extra is sure nice especially if you sit on toilet for showering . And the stainless is so much more flexible . Even changed to same on outside shower . Pat

Thanks. I’d love more suggestions as to why a particular length. Too short could be a problem, although I typically never unhook it, Barb does. I think too long could definitely appear to get in the way.

The longer doesn’t get in the way at all because it isn’t stiff like the plastic sticking out . Also your wife will appreciate the little bit longer hose for washing her hair etc Pat

I had a 60" that came with an Oxygenics shower head, I hated it. A month later I got the 40". If it had come with the one Pat mentions it may not have been an issue.

I've never tried taking a shower while sitting on the can, don't think the 40" would suffice for that.

Hi Bob . Besides the Oxygenics we installed in trailer also have installed in both showers at home too. Yes same problem with the Oxygenic hoses , too stiff and stick out etc. . We also replaced those with the stainless hoses in trailer and at home . The ones I bought on Amazon aren’t heavy and fall in place real nice out of the way . Oh also changed out the stiff hose on our outside shower . But the new outside showers are different then what we have . Pat

On Amazon Delta Faucet 682-812 Master Plumber 59 in stainless steel shower hose
Also Jakarda 60 in 304 stainless steel with brass fittings , brushed nickel 14.99
Always add Pih shower volume controls that are brass , polished chromed to all the hoses instead of plastic shut offs that came with the Oxygenics . 7.99
Love the Oxygenics in trailer and home for water saving benefits . Pat

Thank you very much! I think I have enough to figure it out now. That was very helpful.

Isn't the threaded connection a 1/2" NPT (National pipe thread)? If so, then most any replacement hose and head can be installed in a matter of seconds.

Yes I believe so but most of us do Amazon Don . Some of the hoses at the box stores were too heavy also when I checked . Pat

I don’t have an Escape to see, but it is very likely 1/2” NPT. I’m sending stuff to ETI, and they will do this N/C so it’s one less thing I have to do.

Old thread, didn't want to start another for this one post. For those wanting an Oxygenics shower head, on sale right now at Lowes.
