Uh, you might want to look at a higher rated device for operating a Maxxfan. The inrush current for the Maxfan motor is almost double the 3 amp rating of that board.

I just refill the disposable containers using this adaptor. Works great and 100 times better for the environment. There are like new disposable containers at the garbage drop stations at provincial parks after people have used them only once.

I had a friend who used to fill the disposable containers. He quit after a couple would not close and had to allow them to empty to the air, not good for the environment. They are disposable for safety reasons.

Enjoy,

Perry

I had the very same thing happen, except in my case the tanks began leaking a few weeks after refilling 4, 1lb. tanks. Stupidly, I had them stored in my kitchen pantry, and one day I came home to a house smelling of propane. Thankfully nothing worse happened, but I stopped refilling the single-use tanks and purchased the Flame King tanks.

BTW, I had used one of those adapters to refill Coleman tanks for years, without a problem... I guess I was lucky.

We purchased brass caps with a gasket to screw to the tops in case one decides to leak. If the cap is on it's full, but when empty I don't screw on the cap.

Enjoy,

Perry

For future reference

The 12v fan shown in post 11 was a loud, and rattled a lot, I advise against this fan and I paid like $40.

This seems like a better option.

Doug, excellent work on the mods. Gives me a number of ideas. Thanks for the share.
Season starting soon in the great white north !
I’ve been able to avoid the little green cylinders by adapting everything to plug into my 20lb propane tanks. I’ve got a number of plug and play propane hoses so I can run Weber 1200, Blackstone griddle, fire pit etc. without any disposal or filling of cylinders.

Lagun Alternative

So not spending $$$$ on a Lagun and besides it didn’t really accomplish what we wanted. We wanted a smaller table that was easier to get around with the floor area clear. I made this from extra stuff in my garage. Eventually I’ll be add the matching Formica which is a brown speckle. That’s why the bracket and legs are brown. We’ll have to give it a try to make sure the shape and size is good. The plywood matches other mods in the trailer.

Now we need to figure out some more cushions. In the down position it can work as a lounge area.
