I have Froli under the E19 mattress. You can make it firmer up top and softer under the legs to extend the coverage area. We have Hypervent under the dinette cushions.

I discovered that the mattress does not slide worth a darn on the supports. If you do slide the mattress, lift it up and put the pieces back together.

The "softer" light blue pieces are grouped to one side because it is just me. The extra support pieces (red) are on the sides because I store stuff there.

Hey Tom . . . just wondering, what is it you have in the middle of the carpet? It looks like a piece of flooring laying on top.

What about screwing some of the base pieces down into the plywood to prevent the Froli from moving when placing the mattress in place?

Thanks a bunch . . . Doug

You almost got it. That is the excess countertop laminate. The excess flooring & material were returned still in rolls.

You would likely have to do every one and each “square” is at least 2 parts, base & springy top. You wouldn’t want to screw down the springy part. Next time I know to use some cardboard between base & mattress. Slide mattress right in and then pull the cardboard out.

I might even try a taco fold using ratcheting strap to fit the mattress thru the stairs space better.
