Galley Support Post

I just purchased a 2009 Escape 19. I know some or newer models have a support post by the corner of the sink counter, can someone direct to proper method of installing this support post?

You can obtain the fittings from any marine store. 2 rail bases and a length of s/s tube. Easy to install, make it a snug fit.

I didn't like the factory version because it takes up space where the dish rack goes so I fabricated my own. It slopes towards the wall and keeps the space clear.

The 21 came with one installed but with more counter space I haven't bothered to change it.

I suggested one from floor to ceiling for a little entertainment on a cold rainy night. That’s when the fight started.

Thanks Ron, living on the cost of Maine I have acces to marine shops. So it looks like the ends are welded on and you added a towel holder, did you do the welding your self? I have a AC welder but haven’t welded stainless with it, may be best to let a welding shop do it.

Also please update your profile to reflect your new trailer. Congrats on the purchase. The classic 19’s are great trailers.
