Question Generator

We are getting our new 2017 17' next May and I want to know if anyone has mounted a generator on their 21' or if it's possible. I have one mounted on my Casita.

So, if you are getting a 17' Escape why are you interested in a 21' Escape generator Most owners are very happy with the solar once they start using it. I know I am.

We had/have the same question. At the Bluebonnet Rally I spoke with Jim from Orbital Machine Works (Perfect Casita) to check out the concept. He took some measurements on Duke's 21' and has since been in contact with Reace via email to come up with refined ideas. It looks like the OMW propane tank cover/generator shelf may work. We also want to be able to incorporate the Reese 66151 WDH into the equation so Jim is looking into that variable too as it adds another competitor for real estate on the tongue. One idea is to add some "ears" to allow for mounting the OMW shelf due to it needing to be a bit forward of where it resides on a Casita and it may need to be raised a bit to clear WDH brackets whether of the Reese or Anderson brand. Of course all of that is going to affect tongue weight as well as raising COG in the tongue area so some research still needed.
