Great Little tables

I found these great little table at Amazon. Extremely well made with countersunk hex screws. Great for coffee, computers, whatever. Fit perfectly in the alley beside the 5.0 bed. I even used one to create space in a cabinet. I can stand on 'em and I weigh 180 lbs. $20 Search kids small bamboo table

Looks well built. I think this is the product link. A stool, not a table:

Speaking of great little tables, we found these at Camping World. They work great in our 19' to extend the passenger-side dinette bench seat for a nice after-hiking nap-time session for one of us when we're too hot and sweaty to use the clean queen bed. While they may block easy access to the door, they're just the right height to match up with the bottom seat cushion and provide a sturdy place to support your legs and feet while snoozing. They're nice and light, and fold down flat so 2 of them fit just perfectly on top of our boxes in the bench seat storage. And of course, they're great for outdoor use too.

P.S. If you order some of these, order the small size - they come in small and large. We also have 2 of the large ones and they are too tall for this use.

I bought two of these aluminum stools on sale at an RV dealership on a whim, thinking spare seating would be great. Well, as it turns out they see little duty for that purpose, but are used all the time as an end table. They have been used many 100's of times in the past 8 years, and if we even lost one, we would replace it right away. https://www.amazon.com/ALPS-Mountain.../dp/B004QCGBAQ

On the topic of the stools the OP bought for beside the bed, and their use as a bedside table. I have used a pelican case for a table there.

I have lots of ideas about reworking both corner cabinets at the head of the loft. The cubbies are not so bad, but are super awkward to use. Plus, there is a lot of unused space there. I am thinking an undie and sock cabinet maybe. I would like something of a bedside table, and was considering something that folded out of the way, to access storage under and get out of the way for bed making.

I have the same and will never forget, Jim, when you came by my site and sat on one. I fully expected it to collapse, but you sat there and told me you often use them as stools. Mine are still up to the task and almost as light as the plastic versions.

I remember that well, and actually thought of it when I was posting about them.

I agree the cubbies are very awkward and not very useful- will be interested in what you come up with....

As for a “night table” we bought small little trunks - we sit our clock, Water , flashlight etc on them. The really good thing about them is the ability to lift the lid and have a spot to store small items - they fir snuggly so they just stay put while traveling. The less there is to put away when packing up the better.

Jim thanks for reviving this thread, I missed it in March, but of course in March I didn't have a 5.0TA. Think we'll order a couple of the Famistar stools in Feb. before our next trip. It would be great to put the CPAP base on the bottom slats and have the top for books, glasses, & phone.

I was looking for something exactly like that. Just ordered one.

I'm sitting at the Best Western in Chilliwack taking it easy after the drive from Atlanta, and anxiously awaiting my orientation at 8:30 tomorrow!

Yeah, but the pollen in Atlanta will be so thick in May that you can see it blowing out of the trees.
