Hanging fan
Not having a/c I was looking for a way to have a very small amount of outside air blowing over me on really hot nights. Couldn't be too much breeze because my wife doesn't like a breeze blowing on her.
So thought I'd try using a small fan, hanging in front of the window. At first I was only going to suspend it with cord but one thing lead to another and it's now handing from a piece of light aluminum. The advantage of that is I can twist it a bit if my wife is getting too much of a breeze.
It's a no cost item, it either works or it doesn't. Osoyoos will probably be a good test. The hook it hangs from is a sail slide from a boat I bought in Greece twenty odd years ago, love combining old with new.

You bought a boat in Greece. Right.

Yup, that's right. I have to say I smile a bit when I read all the posts where people are trying to anticipate everything to the nth degree. I flew over, bought a boat similar but larger than one we'd had before. Three months later my wife and went back to spend 5 months on it. We went to the boat and I said, "there it is dear, hope you like it" Took a bit of time to figure out some things and added some equipment later but it did just fine. I tend to make do with what I'm working with and not over analyze.

I've never been to Greece. Maybe one day.

To save on bringing more stuff along, we just turn the MaxxFan on a low setting venting out, and crack the window over our heads. This gently draws fresh cooler air over us, and has made a few hotter evenings more bearable.

I think of this as more of a one person fan because it's much easier to control whose getting a breeze and who isn't. My wife really doesn't like any kind of breeze.
We started sailing in Greece pre EU. Never thought of Greece as European , still don't. If you ever have a chance to go, take it. Your camera will work overtime.
