Interesting mattress

One of the reasons that I did not want a permanent bed was the difficulty in accessing the storage area. While I still like what I have ordered, here is an interesting mattress link: http://www.boatbeds.com/Options/CustomHinge.html

Re: Interesting mattress

We used a Queen size 1 1/4" memory foam in our Trillium on top of the stock cushions. Was extremely comfortable. About 55 bucks at Zellers.

Re: Interesting mattress

I was looking at those before too, they do look nice, but I bet they are costly. The mattresses in the Escape's don't seem too bad at all, I think we will be quite happy with it. Time will tell.

Re: Interesting mattress

I have no problem finding reasons to buy stuff, but, I'd be hard pressed to come up with a reason to replace the factory Escape cushions.

Re: Interesting mattress

Hi Glenn,
I am planning on augmenting and not replacing the cushions with a foam topper. I'm one of those that need a soft landing.

Re: Interesting mattress

We got a 2'' Serta memory foam from Overstock.com.. I think we paid around $75 (shipping include & no tax) for a full size and cut it to fit.. It really helped, as we felt that the high density foam was too firm for our "flabby" bodies..

Re: Interesting mattress

Hi: All... I know it really sucks :P that the 5.0 has a full time bed and our mattress was changed out by the Prev. Own's for an 8" thick memory foam 60"X80".( Canadian Tire) special!!! Trouble is we are that much closer to the overhead storage cupboards "Ouch!!!
