Interesting modifications to a vintage Airstream

Yesterday while on Airstream forum , a modified vintage 1979 31 ft. Sovereign came up . It started with the Laguan table mount and a beautiful table he made . Then I checked out all his modifications and thought us modders would be interested . I think you can also find him on UTube . Pygmy Poacher , lives in Black Diamond , Washington . His trailer is indeed a work of art . Lots of idea's . Pat
Sorry just checked the only way to see his beautiful work is to join Airstream forum and then his name . 11 pages will come up . Pat

I liked the skin patches which were really clever and the wine cellar.

How about that table and the slide out freezer and refrigerator ? Both of the freezer and refrigerator together , compressor ,not more then the double door propane . His trailer is like being in a cabin in the woods . Pat

Note that he concealed his "wine cellar" under a rug and footstool. Another smart idea - depending on who you invite in for dinner. I used to see an old shell of an Airstream sitting open, way back off the road in a grove of trees where the farmer/owner was using it as a bad weather shelter for his goats. Every time I had the urge to stop, take a look and maybe make him an offer, my head would clear, and I'd just drive on by. After doing that for about a year, one day, it was gone. I hope someone braver than me is attempting the same kind of beautiful total renovation to that old road warrior. It deserved a better fate and a second happy life as a camper again.

There used to be an airstream along the interstate between Columbus Ohio and Zanesville on the south side. The trees and earth were slowly reclaiming it. Haven’t been that way for several years now so I don’t know if it’s still there. It looked recoverable the first time i da w it but that’s been Ten years or better. There’s an Argosy and east and south of us about 25 miles. I posted that picture once and since notice the landowner had dug a tractor and an old pickup out into the open field. Maybe the trailer is next. I always say “they’re out there”.
