Inverter install in outside Storage Box

As some of you know from my other thread I am installing a inverter in my 19. I am researching all my options for install. I am considering installing it front storage box above the two 6 volt batteries. This would keep my wire run very short. I would install a remote switch on the inside It would get plenty of cooling air in there. I not sure if moisture would be a problem. Has anyone else installed one out there?

Michael: I would be cautious. Inverter manuals typically say to not install in the same compartment as batteries. Your front box would be one big compartment. But maybe this language is outdated when it comes to AGM or lithium since you shouldn’t have the off-gassing? Not sure.

That's a good point. I did not think of the spark from inside inverter could ignite hydrogen gas. from the lead acid batteries.
I better go back to the drivers side dinette mounted to the black tank cover. A 6' run of wire .
