I was thinking the same thing, Jon. Maybe if anyone here that is coming to the Quartzsite rally will let us know that they have one installed we'll know who to go tour.

Lagun table leg at Quartzsite

We plan to be at Quartzsite and have a Lagun table leg installed. We like the Lagun leg for how it allows us to move the table around and clears out the space under the table, but I can push the front of the table down about an inch and I would not climb on the table or put anything heavy on the front edge.

Good info, thanks Richard. Is your table full sized or the smaller one with the U-shaped dinette?

We have the smaller table that comes standard with U-shaped dinette.

160 watt portable solar panel

Jon,
What is the type and size of your 160 watt portable panel? Would you use the same one if buying it now?

It is from Solar Blvd, made from a pair of 80 watt panels hinged & poorly made steel handle & folding legs.

They no longer sell the version I have, but they do currently offer what looks like a better product - better controller & aluminum rather than steel legs & handle. Mine included the carrying case which is now an option, although it didn't hold up well (the case, not the panel).

Mine is the same size - 40" X 40" open & 40" X 20" closed, around 40 lbs.

So many great ideas Jon: thank-you! The hooks address an issue I've long wanted to solve with something more elegant than plastic stick-ons and your solution is perfect.

Don't have to use plastic hooks.
These 3M Command hooks are brushed nickle.
Come in 1 1/2, 3 and 5 lb. sizes.

Do you still have the Springfield table mount? I have a 2018 19 with dual posts and standard seating. I am reviewing your Lagun installation as an option.

My latest modification to my 2017 21C:

I've had the silverware drawer (upper) slide out & end up on the floor more than once. The second time, the drawer itself broke & I ordered a replacement from Escape. I'm not sure why it keeps happening, but on my last trip it ended up on the floor again, so I decided to do something about it. This last trip was all on paved roads...

I added an aluminum bar held in place with 1" kayak webbing straps. A cap screw serves as a stop. I'm not sure if you can tell by the photos, but to lock the drawers you slide the 1" aluminum bar into the bottom drawer handle, up through the upper drawer handle & through the upper kayak strap, then slide the bar down into the lower kayak strap. The head of the cap screw acts as a stop to hold the bar in place. I has to add a backing piece behind the panel above the drawer since all there is is 1/8" plywood. After the glue drys, I'll remove the front oak piece & put a couple of coats of polyurethane on it.
