Lagun Table Mount

Saw this in a new trailer the other day and it looks like a nice alternative to a floor pedestal for a table in possibly a U dinette configuration. You don't really need a full depth U configuration, a minimal depth bulkhead to mount it would suffice. Especially nice if you are considering a smaller table top than the standard size in an Escape. The real plus is you will not be kicking a pedestal mounted table or one with any other kind of support. It easily disassembles if one wants to store it away completely and it's very lightweight. Correctly sized the table top could also be easily removed and used as part of a two piece slat for making the temporary bed between the two seats in the U configuration. Also nice if one plays a musical instrument...like a guitar for example, as it allows one to quickly and temporarily make more unobstructed space while seated in the dinette area.

thanks for the suggestion..seems like a never ending depth of information on this forum...read a few of those posts.. the Lagun or even a custom designed table support mechanism shouldn't be an issue when planning on replacing/rebuilding the dinette construction anyway.
