Lagun table resize

We have a 2022 21C. Wife would like to smallerize the Lagun table to make it easier to slide in and out of the dinette area. Has anyone cut theirs down? Any hints on size?

People have made all size tables on the forum. Only you can decide what size you want. Our Lagun is approximately 42 X 31.

That's certainly true. Folks on the forum have gone just about every way possible. From no table and a couple of flip up shelves, TV type tables and multiple table types and sizes.

There's lot's of answers on the forum but not for that question.

My wife has gone down the Wayfair rabbit hole, so I'm sure we will find something. Thanks for the responses.

Hey beebobby

I made my table 34 5/8 x 24 1/4 inches. The table was really big in our 21ne so I took the pedestal out and got the lagun system. I installed two lagun side wall mounts in my Escape. One at the back of the u shape dinette and one on the side. This new size has made a world of difference for us.

You can see photos here in modification under my thread "My Escape to Margaritaville modifications and alterations.

Hope this is of some help to ya...

Cheers to ya........ and Happy Trails.........Jack

Mine is adjustable. A 3 piece sliding teak table. When folded to the smallest, 13" X 39". Expanded, 23" X 39". The only problem is it is right at the maximum weight rating for the Lagun. I have to replace the plastic pivot supports every couple of years.

I thought the problem was not being able to move the table the way I wanted, not that it was too big. So I modified the mount. See this post -
https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...ion-25974.html.
I’ve been using this for months now and I like it.

For the two of us, it made sense to replace the table with a 34” round one. We did have some warping, however, with the maple boards.

Added another Laguna hardware

We have an E-23 and the table was too large. We decided to store the table and make two smaller tables. Very functional for us.
