With the ETI table I found the mount to the table as the weak link.
I don't have the measurements here, but first I tried adding 1/2" plywood maybe 18X24, that worked very well but I found the table too heavy when adjusting the heights or removing the table.
I now used a sheet of "stiff" aluminum about 12X18 and find the table very stable and maneuverable.
The wood/fiber that the stock table is made from doesn't hold the short screws very well, but enlarging the area with the aluminum it distributes the fasteners (screws) farther from the center. Worked very well for me.
