Lighted switch search

Hola Peeps!
I have been looking for rocker switches with a light indicator to replace the ones that ETI provides and have been unable to locate. Any ideas on a source?

Wonder if you could replace just the rocker switch with this?

Thanks for the link Kent! I’ll run with this and see how it works out.

An inexpensive way to keep the factory look would be to just drill a hole in the switch or frame from the back side once removed (so you don’t drill into something important) and push in a 12 volt led. Hook one up to each switch and each will come on when they are activated. A little hot glue on the back of the led will secure it in place. It will just look like a little bump when your done as in the photo.

I can see why you may want one for the outside light...just not why you would need the inside light indicator. You may only need to install one led.

Here is a 10 pack of 12 volt leds for under $3 and free shipping to the US. (It is usually free shipping to Canada but because of the postal strike it is going to take a while before it returns to normal)

Lighted switch search

This is a direct replacement for the ETI switches. The catch is that you have to wire a third (neutral) wire to a third contact on the switch, so you probably have to run that wire from somewhere nearby, hopefully.

These two rocker switches control my outside lights. I would also like one for the power awning switch.

Thanks! I can take care of that. Appreciate the confirmation of the switch swap info.

Over the years, there have been many posts on how to dim blue LED indicator lights on various electronic devices. Seems a small light in a small space has big impact.

Thanks for the clarification.

On the 2018 19 one operates the outside light and the other the 3 inside roof lights.

I will look at the switch today. I would like to install a led on the bottom of the outside light switch pointing down. This way you can still see the led is on but it will also shed a bit of light on the floor at the doorway in the dark.

I will check out the power awning switch as well.

Yes, and that includes the green LED on the Escape provided 12V/USB receptacles. In my 21 with the additional cabinet over the drawer stack, is shines directly at the bed. A small piece of electrical tape works well!

I added a LED license plate light to the external light in my 19, very to do and the interior light switch turns it on/off while the switch on the light allows you ti activate the yellow light http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8...s-8841-11.html

I have just finished installing a led in the outside light switch and the awning switch.
It will be all written up and hopefully posted tomorrow.
Here is a teaser picture of just the outside switch showing that it is also pointed at the floor and serves dual purpose.
