Escape did at one time use Samlex inverters and solar packages. To my knowledge they have switched to Go Power now for both of these systems.

To the best of my knowledge, the current EMS used is the Progressive Industries HW30C. I'm not aware that Samlex even makes an EMS. If they do please provide info.

No idea if they changed inverter suppliers, but the panels (2), the solar controller, and the inverter in my August 2017 21 are all GoPower. No problems with any of the parts of the system, other than a cracked inverter fuse, and getting real tired of deep knee bends to turn the inverter off & on since the original switch is built into the solar controller panel.

I added a separate remote for the inverter & located it over the refrigerator. Still have to bend over to see the solar controller display...

Possible solution? Text would be backward, but I'm sure you could get used to it. The standard Go Power GP-PWM-30-UL controller can be set to manual or scrolling display. Set to what you always want to see or if you want to see more than one data point you can have it change every 8 seconds and give you voltage, PV Charging Current, and Battery State of Charge without having to still crouch down to hit buttons which would defeat the purpose.

I used this one with our Casita.

pricey, but does comprehensive circuit testing before enabling its output and seems pretty solid and well made. kinda big.
