Lounge area instead of dinette

Hello! I've tried searching but not having any luck. Has anyone who is using their dinette as a lounge area added an extra layer of cushioning comfort? We are in the queue for a 21C, and I'd like to find some sort of topping for more comfort. My sofa is 28 inches deep seating, which is about the size of a narrow twin. I have been looking at tatami mats and futons on Amazon but am not really seeing what I am looking for. Way back in the day, my Hawaiian stepfather had a 2 inch thick cotton mat that I used on top of a sofa bed mattress that went a long way in making it more comfortable. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

3" latex is pretty perfect for us. Gets used as a lounge or mattress.

Here is my 21C converted to lounge in my 1st E21, suggest you have the rear cushions cut in half for ease of moving.

We had the table floor mount left off our 21 and just use flip up extensions and we don't miss not having a table. It seems comfortable to us without any extra padding. The only thing I would have changed is having 2 filler cushions made instead of only 1. It would be a little roomier

We did that for about 2 years. Then we met a Springfield pedestal in another's 21 and....

Also had a second filler cushion made and it also serves double duty for the bed. That way we can leave the back cushions up for added insulation.
