I have quite a few knives myself. Most of them I just had to have at the time. Friday I saw a pre war (II) bone handled case hunting knife at a Tailgater table.
I have an Identical one but the price on the Friday knife was right. Nope, could not pull the trigger cause I just could not justify a pair. I was kind of proud of myself but coming to grips with ones mortality on being able to wear things out before crossing the bridge is sobering. I moved a box of knives about a month ago and realized I had not used them since the spring of 1985. I'm down to my last little bag of cheezies but will be in Canada in about Two weeks so hope to restock.
