Materials List Post for Modifications?
Escape owners are prolific with modifications, many of which others want to duplicate. Many of us may have the ability to do so, but do not know what materials may be needed. What do you all think about a specific post (sticky?) just for materials used in a modification? The modifier could post the materials list with a link to the post that explains the actual mod. It would benefit all members, while reducing the burden of specific individual requests to the modifier.
I know of at least two (hepvo valve and underbed drawer) I want to include in my ordered 21C, but do not know what to send to ETI, assuming they will co-operate.

I'd be surprised that the factory would do any modifications before delivery, but I have been wrong in the past!

Let us know what Escape responds with, they won’t even install a customer supplied faucet anymore. If it’s not on the options list or the unpublished Easter egg list the answer will be a polite sorry no.

One of the things that brought this to mind was a forum member who sent ETI a Hepvo valve and 'various other parts' for installation, with a request to just put any parts they did not use in the trailer upon delivery.
Knowledge of the 'various other parts' would certainly be handy, probably to more than just me.

The problem with that is that many of us have done similar mods and used different materials from different sources. And sometimes it comes down to using bits and pieces from, as Myron says, junk too good to throw out.
Probably better for someone who sees a mod and doesn't understand exactly what's involved to simply post a question.

I have done a huge amount of modifications to my 5.0TA. To list the materials I used would be a lengthy list which would only do a few people any good. Many would prefer other products, some of what I used might not be available a few thousand miles away, and it would be a huge bother (for me at least) to formulate this list.
Now, if anyone wants any info at all that I could help them with I would be more than happy to help out. Usually method and procedure of modifications is of more importance than the specific products.

I'm slowly trying to get rid of things.......Mother was an ALZ hoarder(I think I inherited it), I ended up clearing their house out. But, as someone who does hang onto everything. When I finally do get rid of it(much goes to Habitant for Humanity). I NEED it two weeks later! But, there is so much information in this group(photo worth a thousand words) to study. Any Mods I do, I will try & record & post, as everyone looks at a problem with different eyes & talents.
