Measurements of Frig Space

Before removing the existing Dometic large frig in my 2014 E19, does anyone have a spec sheet as to interior dimensions?

Do you have the manual for your existing fridge? Maybe the cut out dimensions are included with that. If not you could contact Dometic (good luck with that) or maybe contact Escape. They might have that information. You would obviously need to give them the model number of the fridge.

since there is minor dimension variations in cabinets for all Escapes, I would remove the fridge and measure before ordering new fridge.

Close to manual - not square

Chris is right. You will need to measure once you remove the old Dometic.

As shown in attached, we found the opening to be 23-7/8" x 53-7/8", close to the Dometic manual-specified cabinet cutout. However, do not expect the opening to be square. We found the vertical opening dimensions different, and the cutout width varies noticeably.

Once inside, we had to add additional support pieces to secure the replacement refrigerator/freezer.

Measure 5 times, cut once, and then shave/plane off for the imperfections.

Good luck.
