I like the single slide he built, however, I also wanted to only have to pull out half of the slide at a time. Here are pictures of the one I built. Some angle iron, welded into a "C" channel, Roller blade bearings and plywood.

I originally was just planning on making a slide for the generator...but the idea grew with very little extra work.

I just bookmark using chrome and have a Escape folder set up. It works way better than my memory. There are a lot of good ideas here, the folder is getting quite full.

Nice work, thanks for the pics. Any chance you could add a few close-ups of fittings and slide, to help educate this newbie? No hurry, but - if you get around to it.

Thanks for additional way to "keep track" of cool stuff like this - will see if I can figure out how to best manage this.
Anything to supplement my memory, at this stage, is of value

Some day this thread may make “sticky” status so it is handy for everyone...but I understand they don’t do this much anymore as there are so many other threads that are just as good or better. Maybe when it gets to 100,000 views.
I seldom thank a person when they say they like a posted idea. I read every comment and appreciate very much if someone likes an idea. The best, of course, is when someone takes an idea and customize/improves it to their needs. Feel free to post your variation here.
Lots of new ideas still to come.

Eggscape video made by Ronda & Angie
Ronda and Angie were nice enough to come by at the 2019 Escape Rally and video the modifications made to our 2018 Escape trailer.
They have a great YouTube channel and if you get a chance to meet them, you will find that they are also great people!
If you would like to see the two Eggscape video's they made, here are the links.

As a homeboy movie/video guy, I do wish I had your ability to narrate all your great mods so smoothly, Ed. No editing out pauses or gaps required, just a very efficient, informative presentation of your work.

Thanks
Thanks...it was very easy to work with Ronda & Angie. Apparently they like to do much shorter videos but they did not tell me that until filming was over.
With the few things we missed, the mods posted since May and mods still to be posted, there should be enough for a part 3.

Thanks, Ed. I ordered several different pocket items which will solve some "too much stuff sitting around in the way" problems--paper and can recycling, and glasses, flashlight, etc.

Great...get them while you can. The 13 pocket one is only available from one supplier that I know of and they were out of stock for months. There are far few suppliers selling the other two models than there were a year ago...so the price is not as good as when I wrote the post.
