Mud Flap Add-On

Howdy. My 2010 E19 doesn’t have mudflaps. I’ve found in this forum that there were not standard back then.

Escape sells them pretty cheap, so I bought a pair. Very nice heavy, made in USA!

My question is, does anyone have any experience adding them on? I hesitate to just drill them into the fiberglass which is how newer ones come. But newer ones may have reinforced backing. Any help appreciated.

Thanks!!

Update: I'm not going to drill into the fiberglass. I found this link that a fellow did on an Oliver. Looking to do something similar.
