I have to concur with Jim . I installed 3 60 watt flexible panels on our 19 for at least 1 1/2.years now and there is no complaints . Pat

No disagreement at all that flexible panels are an alternative. But remember that this thread was about relocating an already existing panel.
Personally I'd rather have a mechanical connection and some air space between the panel and roof but we all have different preferences.

Hey Ron the best part on these flexible panels is the 1/4 in thick back fiberglass . For me especially one panel helped my roof ..... we have a fiberglass cooler on our home since 1993 . No matter how hot the temp is and you know with the shingles on the roof it gets hot up there , the fiberglass is cool to the touch no matter what . You installation on your 19 is a great installation too ! Pat

Oh yes I remember! I'm just not yet fully convinced going with the flexible panels at this time! If I'm able to do what I think I can do. I will have 300 watts on a rack that I can remove and modify leaving me future options related to solar panel technology!

And I have a very nice airfoil extrusion that will form the front edge of the rack for the new 21.

I should correct those of us who did the flexible panels are really semi- flexible not the flexible panels . There is a big difference . Pat

Contacted Dave at ETI regarding solar panel placement on the 5.0TA and he sent me these pictures. Thought I would post in case anyone was interested. Interior shots are showing blocking for overhead cabinets.
Disclaimer/reminder these pictures are of 2019 5.0TA.
