No Slivers!

After getting our pre-owned 17B home from Calgary, we pulled the cushions to do a thorough cleaning. My wife pointed out that the plywood under the cushions might be a source of slivers. So I pulled all of the panels, sanded, stained and clear coated both sides of them. Nice and smooth now and no chance of slivers.

I like it. Even though you won't hardly ever see it, it should help with wear on the cushions.

On our trip home, after picking up our 21', my wife got slivers twice from the underside of the table. It is made of very poor quality CD plywood and wasn't finished in any way. One of the first things I did upon arriving home was take out the table, fill the splits and knotholes, sand it well, and put on a smooth finish.

Good idea on the finishing. On my seats, I have put that no-slip rug stuff with the waffle look.
This seams to be a better idea.
