I was also worried about the weight of a full size table but that looks clearly robust enough! Thanks again for the picture!

Arnie: I did not do this install yet on the full size table in the 19, but I will be if I am able to purchase the slide thanks to Steve. The picture was stolen from a post by paulk when he was selling his set up.

Regarding your comment on rotating and pushing to the front wall I don't know for certain, but by the looks of the narrow table dimension and the travel of the slide and I'm going to bet there would be a gap at the front wall.

That being said I'm going to order these without asking for any upfront money from anyone, I'm even going to go out on a small limb and order 30 because I'm sure there will be future Escape owners that would like one once they find out about it.

go ahead and add me to your list as 'very interested'.
final question on the pedestal, how do you secure it to the floor? i have the vinyl floor on my 2014 E21, with the U dinette, and my undercarriage is foamed, but I think the water tank is directly under there?

Steve.
After seeing this setup at the Quartzsite Gathering today, I would also be interested in one. I will send you a private message.
Regards,
Fred M.

Gotta be careful there and not use the screws that come with the pedestal. Prior to installation I did a raised floor mod as the ergonomics for the dinette bench seat for Classic 21/5.0TA(2013-2016) is not great unless you ar 6'4 as the Classics don't have a raised floor as they do now.

I guess I'm a bit confuse or I simply missed something. In the posted video of the slider in action it shows it not only sliding but also going up and down. So now I understand it only slides and the pedestal is something extra?

Dicor was also selling a pedestal, however it was not suitable as it has fixed points at which to lower vs. being variable as the Springfield is.

Hello All,
Update on this, took me forever to get an order placed because of them, this was finally done yesterday. I kept being told someone would contact me for credit card info and no one was doing that until yesterday and that was only after sending a look not trying to be a pest just place an order email.
I ordered 30 units taking the risk others down the line would want them, I think I have commitment for 20 maybe 21 would have to go back and look. Please keep the word going that I will have these. They also raised the price about 5% but don't worry the price I told everyone of $178.00 plus shipping will stay the same.
Could not get a firm time frame now they have an order but as soon as I know will be sure to update everyone.
I had a couple that has a 2017 Casita come look at our Grover yesterday, they had seen a 19' Escape but never a 21'. They were like me really surprised how much open space you have in 21'.
Enjoy the journey.
Steve

Thanks again Steve for doing this. I guess at this point you don't have any idea when you might receive them in GA.
on edit: never mind I see you did say you didn't know when.

Interested in getting one of the slides as well but curious if the springfield pedestal with this mount would still lower enough to make the dinette bed?
I'm assuming so but hoping somebody that has one can confirm.

Yes the Springfield mechanism locks in any position as I understand it.
Enjoy the journey.

Just be sure to order the model that lowers to 12 3/4 " (model # posted many times bere). You will have to trim the pedestal platform to fit inside the 4Way slide which can be done with a Skil saw easily as it is aluminum.. Then mark the attachment holes and very important- set slider away from pedestal when drilling so you don't get any aluminum swarf or debris from drilling in the tracks where the nylon wheels travel.

Thanks for the replies, I do have the pedestal that goes lower.
Oddly enough I can't find the springfield pedestal product information listed on the manufacturer's web site. It also is gone from overton's and other websites I checked have it as out of stock. Possibly discontinued so if anyone is looking for one they may want to hurry.

so indeed, my wife's feet don't meet the floor (short legs), so I guess we /are/ interested in the raised floor too...
anyone got any pictures of this mod in progress so I can get some ideas? I have the U shaped dinette in my 21, and the power center is flush with the floor on the back panel, also the furnace is only a couple inches above the floor
