Outside dish washing faucet.

i would love to find an flexible faucet to attached to our outside shower connection with its own shut off.
Ideally it would be like one pictures below with its own shut off so you could set the temperature with the hot and cold valves then just turn on and off as needed.
Does any one know if the brass fitting on this style hose pictured screws off so i could fit an inline valve between it and the hose.

Mine is all plastic but does screw apart.

The spout you show is sold on e-trailer you then just go to the local hardware store and buy a plastic shutoff valve and install between the fitting and flexible part

That’s exactly what I did with ours. It works great. That brass fitting should be threaded.

I picked up the threaded PVC valve and a short PVC nipple to go between the brass adapter and the valve at a local hardware store.

The spout was from etrailer.

It’s a Slim-Fold Cook Station from GCI Outdoor.
I duct taped the box it came in and use it as a case when it’s packed up and it fits nicely through the rear hatch.
I think we ordered it directly from the manufacturer but now it looks like there are several places online that list them cheaper than GCI’s website.

I'm not sure what Escape might include with their trailers but this is similar to the outside shower that Casita provides.

It can be used to wash off pets and/or muddy boots.....

By turning on both installed valves you should have warm water at the spout. Otherwise you have to rebalance the temperature.

Are you storing this under the bed via the outside hatch. I'm undecided whether to get the Slim-Fold or Master Cook Station and drilling out the rivet to detach the counter extension when not needed and to fit through hatch.

Yes, we store it under the bed by way of the hatch. It goes in first so it’s flat on the floor. The top of it is basically level with the bottom of the hatch opening so loading other stuff on top of it is easy.



I’d never heard of the Master Cook Station but from what I see I don’t think I’d buy it.
Because we always have it next to the trailer, the lantern hook would be redundant with our trailer lights. Also it seems like it might be too long to go between the door and hatch.
The sink being on the end doesn’t make for good dishwashing flow. We go left to right, dirty dishes, wash bin, rinse bin, drying rack. That and I can see myself sticking a sharp knife through the “soft” sink.

Of course that’s just the way we use it, YMMV.

I agree about towing with the diesel Grand Cherokee. That torque sure is nice in the mountains.

I installed an outdoor shower on to the back side of my trailer. Pretty standard but I also added in brass valves to cut the water supply off entirely. I was not comfortable with the plastic faucets that they come with. We use it for washing dishes outside, the occasional shower, rinsing off the grand urchins or pets, etc. I can change out the shower wand to what ever we'd like but it works for now. We wanted on the far side as it stays dry on the door side where we do most of our outdoor living.
