Painting the yellow vent

Our vent was getting yellow, so I took care of it yesterday. As always, I forget to take a “before” photo, but a light sanding + some masking tape + newspapers + Krylon Fusion Plastic paint took care of the issue.

Dover White?
Have you painted the propane tank cover to match the trailer?

The propane tank cover still look good, but that would certainly be a candidate when the time is right.

Not sure if it has changed, but in the 'olden days' the propane tank cover was a cold white. It looked blue next to the warm white of the trailer. Dover white fixed that.

I did the stove vent last summer. The same issue. I choose black color, due to my black belly band, window frames and tires. I also choose to brush paint it with a made for plastic paint. Brush strokes are not noticeable and it was a bit easier than taping the area and worrying about over spray. We'll see how it holds up?

The propane cover is already "Dover White" and due for a touch up. I wonder how a black propane cover would look?
