Pat: I have a 19 with Springfield and Dicor and I am thinking about cutting the table so it swings around. How much did you cut off by the window side?

Super cool... I like how you the drawers may be accessed both when they're pulled-out and when they're also closed because you installed hinges on the top covers. Nice design!

I removed 10 in . I didn’t remove any from the sides so it still goes down to make a bed still . We have the Springfield and for now just put back the Escape slide and the table will turn all around . Reminds me I should change to better metal slide . Pat

Box dip fix

Finally figured out a fix . Wanted teak wood but a little pricey so found another solution . Boat flooring foam decking faux teak marine mat . Added a piece of ply to level to top glued down . Then added the decking marine mat cut to fit . I used Lexel to glue ply down and also added to sticky backing . No more dirt sitting in the depression on box . The newer box lids looked to be bumped out but on our 2013 they were depressed in. Been more then a month now and looks good even trailer due for a bath Friday . Pat

Bravo, maestro! Teak on white fiberglass always shines.

Pat you've been around boats long enough to know that you're better off without the real teak. As much as I love teak I've spent way too much of my life on maintaining exterior teak on boats.

Looks fantastic and a great solution to the water and dirt trapping "innie" lid. Didn't know that you guys had enough water to still be washing trailers. We're fast running out up here. Imagine people on the "Wet Coast" hoping for rain.

Now, about a "woodie" look on an Escape.

Ron

Hey Ron I know , have a teak bench in one of the showers and it is constant upkeep! I really just like the richness of the wood . Anyway finally got her done and am happy !
The trailer needs a bath though black streaks running down the sides ugh ! Yes we are on water restrictions here too but somehow I guess because we removed lots of grass and sprinklers are using less water so we can give the trailer a very needed bath .
Hope you guys are well and getting to camp some . Our gas is horrible here and hurts but time is passing us by so …… take care Ron and say hi to your better half ! Pat and Linda

Pat that's a great solution. I see rain here has begun to penetrate my home made wood tongue box cover (despite giving it a coat of resin) and it has again begun to separate. A glue down of marine flooring (105"x 12" roll for $15) could work for me. Their website though says they want a minimum of 3 strips. Is that right?

Hi Myron not ignoring you this is my second response . Don’t know what happened to the first .
Ok I ordered from Amazon the product I purchased is Kxkzren self adhesive Eva foam decking . I measured and purchased a roll that would be one piece . They advised since I was installing over wood to add more adhesive so I used the Lexol that I adhered the wood ply to box lid in the depression . It comes in colors and different widths . I think I ordered 94 in x 16 in . I believe there are other manufacturers out there too but this is what Amazon had . Myron what about fiberglassing your wood ? Just a thought but I bet you will come up with a fix . Yes this will work for you but still pricey . I have been trying to figure out a solution for years now and am very happy now to not have dirt and water sitting in the top any longer . Hope you are well and hope to see you maybe at Quartzite in Feb ? Pat

I did coat it with Bondo fiberglass resin, thinking that would make the plywood bullet proof. Wrong. Looking now to do what you done but-- not at Kxkzren prices.
