Reinforced walls

I see many ordering reinforced walls, what does that amount to? I realize the purpose but not what it entails. Are they fiberglassing or epoxying 3/4" plywood or some such to the walls before the insulation and vinyl? I've seen the images of the wood blocking that is used for cabinets and such.

Depending on your Escape model, you may want to reinforce the wall where you wish to mount the TV so that you will not be limited to just the corners where the studs are located. With the whole wall reinforced with plywood your options are greater.

Escape Trailer Industries is trying to build trailers that could be considered "light weight." And they are succeeding. BUT, there are those of us that want to mount televisions, magazine or spice racks, etc. the standard-built walls are not built for that (possible) amount of weight. Plan ahead! BUT, expect more $$ and more weight. It's about YOUR future needs.

Basically you can most almost anything anywhere on a reinforced wall. On a regular wall you are limited to mounting stuff only where the studs are located and should not mount heavy items, racks, or shelfs type items to them.

The way I read Padlin's question, I think there's a misunderstanding here. To be clear: the reinforced walls are only in the interior wood work. The exterior walls never get reinforced with plywood. Yes, there are attachment points that are little blocks of wood fiberglassed to the exterior shell. But the reinforcements people are talking about are all interior, for example the side of the cabinet or the wall between the fridge and the bed.

Ding, Ding Ding, now I get it. I was thinking it was the outer shell that was reinforced. Instead it's the wooden interior walls that are reinforced from the usual hollow core a more solid structure. Thanks all.

I blew right past what padlin was asking because to me the outside isn't a wall... it's the shell.
