I made a redwood matt for our 5.0ta bathroom floor. We remove it when showering and then return it when done. Feet stay dry even if the floor is wet.

They are not rubber, some sort of soft flexible plastic. Did not have that harbor freight smell that rubber products often have.
Ours have been in for over 6 months and no problems other than sand likes to collect under them so I do need to remove them and clean it out at times.

Why not leave it in when using the bath? Redwood is water resistant I believe.

I built a duck board for our shower out of white ash
Applied 3 coats of spar varnish which has held up well for over 5 years
Our old Scamp did not have any protection for the shower floor and the FG floor was badly scratched

The shower floor in my 5.0TA would remain wet long after the shower was over, especially if the rig was not precisely level. I laid down "Dri-Dek" (purchased from West Marine"). It is not rubber (oxy-B1-vinyl). It is very clean, no odors. After several uses, some grit and grime will accumulate under the tiles. Easy to wipe clean.

Good for you . You are protecting your floor too . Ours are blue . Bought ours for our trailer after we saw in Greg Z. 19 to check out his trailer before our purchase 5 years ago . Nothing to do except wipe floor once in while under tiles .Pat
