First time attempting to use the shower and the flimsy Nov came of the tap section to turn on the shower. Anyone replace the entire tap/ shower and if so please give the particulars

If it's still the same faucet they used in my 2015, it's a Phoenix Catalina in white with the D-spud (shower diverter). The faucet is cheap and easy to replace. Two threaded connections for the pex underneath.

'flimsy Nov' ? you mean the diverter valve you lift to enable the shower instead of the sink? my 2014 has been holding up just fine. It only moves about 1/8 of an inch up to enable the shower, and mine has to be pushed back down manually most of the time to go back to sink mode.

Looks like your trailer is still new enough to have some warranty. I would consider contacting Escape and ask for a new one. They sent me one as the first one didn’t work properly.

Our bathroom faucet failed and ETI replaced it free of charge in the first year of ownership. The water has to be on for the diverter to work. And as John stated the diverter knob only moves about 1/8" up and down. Works perfect.

One has to remember that the accessories installed in your Escape is not like what you have at home. Constuction as well as installation is not that secure or robust as in your residence and some items should be used "gingerly" to prevent problems.

I have to keep reminding my husband about that. Sometimes he just chooses not to use stuff. Lol
