I now have the Thornwood shunt and monitor installed and working.

I was able to re-route two cables so only had to buy one.

My location is tight but remains somewhat accessible. If I did it again, I'd probably hang it under a horizontal rail like TahoeJoe but it's in and sending data without issue.

I chose to install in the negative leg and leave the shunt exposed. The monitor itself is potted so no exposed circuitry. BlueTooth range is good. The trailer is in our driveway and I can connect inside our house, easily a 50 ft range.
