Question Sink

Has anyone ever done a modification or been able to order a kitchen sink larger than the standard issue during their original build?

Carol:

We chose a stainless steel sink in place of the regular plastic one and are pleased with our choice.

I ordered the stainless sink as well for my trailer that will be finished at the end of May. Just wondering if anyone had/ordered/modified to end up with a larger, wider version.

Carol, our sink is actually downsized and we love it. There definitely nice things about a larger sink, but if you do lots of boondocking you will go through water faster filling it, and also fill the grey tank faster. It also would take up more counter space.

Just a couple thoughts. Either way, if you do like we do, and do most of your dishes outside, it becomes a bit of a moot point anyway.

Sink

I spoke with Tammy today. She said that the kitchen sink size cannot be altered due to the position of the drain and plumbing so no further responses will be needed on this thread. Thank you.
