The smart plug looks to be a very good choice if one were adding this type of connector. If I hadn’t ordered the factory one installed I would go with the smart plug. The price doesn’t seem out of line for the improvement over the other type of detachable inlets. It’s about half the price of adding the Lagun table which doesn’t seem to faze anyone here including myself, so I don’t see the price as being an issue.
Looks like a very good detachable plug system to consider.

Hole was right size. AC wiring was right there. Made install process simple.

Agree. We've also ordered the Lagun table mounts. :-) Both are nice upgrades.
