Stickers/decals

I love my 2018 19 foot Escape, but I feel like it could use a little personal touch to it. Any suggestions on where to get stickers/decals for outside?
Also the fridge too....it’s black Formica (I think).

Cheers T

Etsy! There's a ton of great ones on that site, all different kinds...most of mine have come from there, or from places we visit on the road.

I got mine at Words Anywhere. Have used them twice. Easy to design online and then order. Lots of fonts and colors.

Local signmakers, often small businesses, abound in many areas (my nearest rural town of 8k population has two).
  • They'll computer-cut most anything you want in any size.
  • They usually have a variety of materials of all sorts and colors (different weights, made for indoor/outdoor applications, etc.).
  • You can actually see colors, materials, and samples of work.
  • They'll render most any art you can make on your computer as a sticker, they'll guide you on format requirements, or usually have in-house art services.
  • Working 'hands-on' with the signmaker to develop your sticker is fun, inevitably leads to ideas you'd not considered and more satisfying outcomes than you'd imagined.
IME dealing local helps ensure you know exactly what your getting, is very cost effective, comes with great customer support, and supports your local economy. You'll likely 'make a friend' and realize there's tons of things you never imagined you would get small custom labels made for.

Just for your consideration

Note as well that Donna D provided the font and details that you may wish to order presuming you want to replicate the stuff ETI uses.

It's HANDEL GOTHIC ITALIC according to Ms. D.D...

I actually have a request into ETI for a "name" set for our 21NE.

I have stickers from them that have been exposed to the elements for years and they still look great, no fading, no peeling, etc...

I had a photo printed on sticky backed Vinyl at Signarama that I added to the back of my 17. Their minimum when I had the same one printed for my 21 let me get two, so now there is one on the front & back. It is a photo I took of Lake McDonald at Glacier National Park that I use on my webpage, business cards, even on my checks...

I missed that when I was reading the original thread on this topic.

So here's a question Ms. Donna...

I presume you licence the font to those who wish to use it for business purposes, so are you directly involved in the manufacture of such items as vinyl lettering etc.?

With that, should my request have gone directly to you?

I recall reading that you have been in an affiliated business in a prior life, perhaps still.

Curiosity seeks clarification is all.

No, not to me. I own the Commercial Use License RIGHTS to the font. I am not the font designer, who are Robert Trogman, Donald Handel and published by Bitstream. Anyone can buy the CUL for this font.

That's a good question Johnny I was wondering the same thing...do the panels installed by Escape tilt? I've been trying to decide if I'd go for 2 sets of panels on the roof, or 1 set and then get a portable set that I can move around... movability of the roof panels is definitely a factor to consider!

The stock panels from Escape do not tilt. Jon modified his.

For the interested others, here's the link to Jon Vermilye's blog post containing a description of that mod: Trailer Modifications - Escape 21.

A treasure-trove of experience shared by Jon in that post along with others linked therein; definitely worthy of a bookmark, IMO.
