I am not a big fan of the looks of the Escape front storage box for $784 tax in Canadian. At least you are not forced to buy it at an added cost to the trailer. I am glad Ron has pointed out you can correct some of the tilt.
I am undecided if I like the one on the Bigfoot trailers as it kinda looks like a birds beak. Nice and smooth lines but looks big and over powers the front of the trailer.
From what I can see Oliver’s front cover is mainly for the tanks.
I do like the rear storage drawer that Armadillo offers that hides away under the trailer.

So are you like Ron- didn't want or like until it was free?

Well I am still on my first Escape and with just a few tweaks it is working out great.
However if something unforeseen should happen to it and I have to reorder...I would not say no to the box...makes a good rock shield.

I like the box, it serves very well for what it was designed to do. Neither one of ours experienced any problems or failures. The fact that it’s slightly tipped or has a lid that collects a little water does not bother me at all. I appreciate good design, fine craftsmanship and great fit and finish but don’t have the talent to create my own, so with the Escape box “Form follows function” fits for me.

I am glad we got the storage box. All the wet stuff, dirty stuff, awkward stuff goes in the storage box. It's plenty sturdy. I'd order it again in a heartbeat.

Ok Ed, so I mean this because you have contributed so much here with your well documented mods- I would be happy to be the first to contribute $100 U.S. for your ETI made box. Anyone else?

I know what you mean. I give them full marks for trying for a smooth integrated look but somehow I find it a little jarring.

It is big - it comes with an extended trailer frame.

Thanks for the fine gesture Ross but I think I am passed that point having welded my battery cross rails and propane tank mounting plate in place. But it is a generous thought.

I was advised by everyone to get it. I was hesitant because of the price but I did it and have never regretted it. At some point it becomes like a home remodel....way over budget but eventually the source of happiness.

Funny, I ordered my 21' w/o the box precisely because I thought it looked like a wart . No accounting for taste I guess.
Full disclosure, I also didn't want the extra tongue weight of the contents within the box while towing with a Tacoma. I'm around 80% of the limits for tongue, tow, and cargo capacities as is. Don't want to push the envelope more than I do. I'll weld together my own box if I ever acquire a more robust TV. But frankly to date I've still tons of empty storage space without the box.

We have a 21C on order and am planning on the front box. But also thinking about an Aluminum Truck Box because of reduced cost.
How wide is the ETI Front Box? 18"? 17"? Etc....

furgit about it!
Cost is relative. Get the Escape box. The money spent is well worth it, and likely won't break your budget.
Just my opinion.
