Super hanger-uppers

Whilst working on the ultimate bath towel bars, soap dish, etc I came across this line of products. Ordered several items and am absolutely amazed at how well they are built for the price. The suction cup function is enhanced by a mechanical threaded cup knob that pulls the suction far more than a hand could do unaided. I've had a ten pound weight hanging from a towel bar for two weeks with no problem Also works great on the outside of the trailer while camped to hold wet stuff for drying. Pics shown in our 21 bath. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/ca.../series/29865/

I have been using these Ikea suction cups for a few years now, and they work great. There was a discussion on them a few years back.

We use ours on the outside of the trailer to hang stuff on to keep it out of the way, yet handy. This works great to hand wet gear on, like raincoats, keeping them under the awning instead of bringing them inside. If they do need to come inside, the hooks can just be used in the bath, as Charlie has done with his bath accessories.

Saw these towel bars on Tim and Julie's 15 at Maryhill and made my first trip to the IKEA in Seattle to purchase. Paul says if we need anything else from what he affectionately calls the "Nine Circles of Hell" place it has to be done online LOL. Love those towel bars though

I found these Ikea items a couple of years ago and cut the towel bar to fit across the back of the shower (up and behind the toilet). I also took off the t.p. holder from the door and use the Ikea one near the door. I have it tilted at an angle so the paper doesn't come out in transit and I also squeeze the roll a bit as well. They worked so well, I got a basket and some hooks too.

Towel bar is an adjustable length, has a button detent and pre-punched holes in the bar so you can make it a size that works for you. I'll go measure the min/max.

Overall length at smallest width, including the cups, is 20 1/2 inches with a 17 inch straight bar section. Extends an additional 12 inches if desired.

I was the same way when we lived in Spokane some years ago. I visited the store and then lusted after so many things. We now live appx 3 miles from the Renton store. Needless to say over half (if not more!) of our house is furnished from stuff from Ikea.

Um yeah, love that store!

Thanks Charlie, sounds like I had better do some measuring before I make the buy

There was no extension when I got mine That is nice to know, as I could use another one. Thanks.

I think the adjustable ones are a new improved model!
