I had to drill a hole into the cabinet above and tied into a 12V drop that was inside the cabinet. I dressed it up with loom to hide the wires.

Thank you. That is nice work. Another mod to think about down the road.

The window shade lighting is genius! I've been trying to come up with ideas for indirect lighting around the dinette and this looks great.

Could you share what LEDs you used?

Those look really nice, do the cabinet lights come when you open the cabinet door?

Sure! The adhesive backing is not very good, but is a moot point since the channel goes inside an aluminum channel with a diffuser.

I’ll send you a pm with my contact information if you want more details. Plus, I’ll be at the rally in Osoyoos.

Hi Kevin,

Yes, the cabinet lights in our trailer are connected to micro switches. Some folks use on/off switches instead.

This looks fantastic. What kind of aluminum channel did you use for the strip lighting? Does the switch have a dimmer or does the diffuser give you the effect you are looking for?

Here is the link to the aluminum channels. The diffuser gave me the effect I was looking for. There is no dimmer.

You are welcome. Lee Valley Tools also has everything you need, but it is pricier.

Great videos too!. I assume you put the dinette and bed area lights on one switch?

Yes the three windows in the dining area are on one switch. The kitchen window is on one switch and the bedroom window is on one switch.

Get ready Fred, here come the copy cats.
I got the dinette end done today. Katrina and I are thrilled with it!
