Toyota Tacoma Owners

Hey,

If you all do not go to www.tacomaworld.com you might be interested in these tow mirrors ProEFX Towing Mirrors - Tacoma World Forums I have seen them in person though, not yet on my truck they look good.

I put a set on my 2013. Very easy plug and play install. I got black with no turn signal or heat, just power. The mirrors are larger which takes some getting used to and there is a bit of vibration. In the towing position they provide a much better view along the trailer.
The link you provided will give anyone thinking about them more information than they will need. I agree that the Tacoma forum is worth reading and a great resource for anything Tacoma related.

I have a set and really like them. I got the black, with turn signals, and heat. As Dave mentioned they are plug and play.

I have a set with signals and heat. They are really nice. The power was plug and play, but the signals were not. The wires for the signals were in the door, but they did not continue on from the connector just inside the cab. I have a 2014 TRD OR and I read many folks with 2014s and some one with a 2013 TRD OR had the same issue. The wiring harness for the 2014s and maybe 2013s with the TRD OR package must be different. But great mirrors none the less.

The Sport model has the integrated turn signals in the mirror, whereas I believe the Off Road does not. So for the Sport, the turn signals are plug and play. The heat does require a switch and completing the circuit.
