Using Tv coaxial cable for cell phone booster antenna?
We are planning on installing some kind of cell phone booster antenna on our 5.0TA. It will have an external mast and so we'll have to run the antenna cable from that external antenna to the internal signal booster. Our 5.0 TA was ordered with the cable-ready option, but we haven't installed the TV mount and probably won't since we typically watch "TV" on our laptops. So I'm considering connecting the external cell booster antenna to the TV cable via the port ETI installed on the left front. The TV cable runs to the cabinet on the right side, just over the foot of the bed, which is close to a DC plug which can be used to power the cell booster. I can't tell if the ETI installed TV cable is RG6 or RG11, but I'm guessing it's 75 Ohm, which seems to be the same as typical RV cell booster systems. Anyone see any problems doing this? Thanks.
